The Wisconsin Educational Services Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WESP-DHH) is part of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Division for Learning Support and provides comprehensive education and support services to all Wisconsin children who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind, their families and their service providers.

 

WSD LogoWisconsin School for the Deaf (WSD)

The Wisconsin School for the Deaf is a residential school for deaf and hard of hearing students from throughout the state of Wisconsin. WSD operates under the direction of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and provides educational services for deaf and hard of hearing students ages 3 to 21. WSD focuses on meeting the needs of students with disabilities in the areas of academic, adaptive education, vocational, and social skills development.

 

Outreach LogoOutreach Program

WESP-DHH Outreach provides a variety of programs and services to students, ages 3 to 21, who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind, their families, and the educational teams and school districts that serve them, regardless of the student's educational placement or communication modality. Most of these programs are free-of-charge.
