Fun, educational summer activity for young children who are deaf or hard of hearing facilitated by Amy Kroll, AuD, Clinical Associate Professor and Educational Audiologist along with students in the UW Doctor of Audiology and Master's in Speech Language Pathology programs. An ASL interpreter will also participate in the play group.

Children who are deaf or hard of hearing and are entering K through 2nd grade are encouraged to enroll. Sociodramatic play is a fun, multisensory activity that stimulates linguistic and non-linguistic communication, literature comprehension, and peer interaction.


Monday, July 25, 2016 - Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 9am-11am

Each session includes

  • Storytime: a new story each day
  • Hands-on activities & crafts to further story comprehension
  • Games to help us learn the script
  • Snacks related to the story
  • Adult role play of the story (with props)
  • Child performance of the story with props, fun sets, and adult support


$75 per child; includes props, games, and snacks
