Empowering Educators to Reach Students with IEPs: Access & Achievement

Special and General Educational Professionals will learn about:

  • College and Career Ready IEPs: Improving Outcomes for Students with IEP’s ages 3-21
  • Supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health as a Foundation for Learning
  • Literacy within Universal Instruction
  • Literacy Intervention
  • Student Relationships: Teacher, Family and Community Engagement
  • System Changes to Improve Outcomes for Students with IEP’s

Who is the Targeted Audience?

Program Support Teachers (PSTs) may be any person whose job requirement includes training or providing professional development to staff at a school, district, CESA, or affiliated organization.

PSTs may attend as individuals or teams of two-five colleagues; with a common goal of supporting literacy outcomes for students with IEPs. Teams may include but are not limited to: reading teachers & specialists, general & special educators, interventionists, and coaches.

One graduate credit available through Viterbo University.
