Community Partner: Wisconsin Educational Services Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing: Role Model Infusion Program (WESP-DHH)

This year’s structure will have four presenters who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind provide real-life testimony of their journey. Presentations will occur from 9-11 a.m. & 1-3 p.m. with a breakout for lunch from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. During the lunch breakout, UWM’s D/HH advisor, Jason Anderson, will provide a "lunch session" for students. High school students will be able to interact with and learn from college student role models who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaflbind, as well as learn about various community organizations.

This incredible field trip opportunity to UWM will allow high school students to experience deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind role models throughout the State of Wisconsin present their life story at Deaf Awareness Week Wisconsin.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the online registration form.
Deadline for field trip registration is Friday, September 16.
