This event is being hosted by the Signing Student Association (SSA) in partnership with the ASL Studies/Interpreter Training Program. Participants will enter a mock town where the official language is ASL and experience the world as if it were flipped and the majority of people were deaf and the minority of people could hear. Each participant will receive a “visitor passport” and will visit town “businesses” and conduct a transaction of some kind to receive a punch on their visitor passport. There will also be community organizations and businesses who work with the deaf community providing the opportunity to learn more about how the community serves deaf and hard of hearing people.

Open to the public. $2/student, $3/community member.
