Family Conference

The conference offers families (including grandparents and extended family):

  • Opportunities for children to socialize and build friendships.
  • Opportunities to meet other families from around the state.
  • Informative workshops, interactive learning labs and discussion groups.
  • Well-supervised and fun-filled children’s activities while parents are in workshops.
  • Opportunities to meet and learn from adult role models who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind.
  • Time to meet with exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall to learn about the most current resources, products and services from around the state and the nation.
  • A silent auction to raise money for scholarships.
  • Workshops which are accessible to Deaf, Hmong, and Spanish-speaking families.

*A block of rooms is reserved under Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Deafblind Conference. Be sure to ask for the room block rate or you will not be given the discounted rate. Rate guaranteed until 10/20/17 only.

Cost is $82 per night for single adult occupancy; $109 per night for double adult occupancy; kids stay free. Maximum number of occupants for a double room is five.

Parking

Parking at the Radisson is $5.00, payable in cash or check only. There is a $5.00 charge EACH time you enter the parking facility. No credit/debit cards are accepted for parking.
